Deliveries
First Coast Supply will deliver merchandise that you purchase from us – cabinets, appliances and countertops – to your designated location. Upon delivery, your products will be placed in position, hooked up or installed, as appropriate and per your desires specified in the sales order.
Our fleet of 15 vehicles, ranging from full size deilvery trucks for cabinets and appliances to smaller sized trucks and trailers for granite tops, allow us to meet various delivery commitments. Use of full-sized trucks for cabinet and appliance deliveries require that the route to the customers job site have suitable bridges, roadway surfaces and clearances from overhead lines.
Cabinets
Most customers who purchase cabinets from First Coast Supply also have us perform the installation of these cabinets. A few days prior to the actual date of installation, cabinets are delivered on site where they are usually staged in a garage or other secure area specified by the customer.
Appliances
Once a customer’s merchandise has been received at our warehouse, they can make arrangements for a Monday thru Friday delivery into our normal delivery area (approximately a 50 mile radius). Requests for deliveries should be placed by 2:00 p.m. one working day prior to the requested date of delivery. Deliveries outside the normal delivery area are handled on a case by case basis, but normally will be delivered within one to three days upon receipt of a request for delivery.
Customers may call dispatch after 08:00 am on the day of delivery for an "estimated" time window as to when their merchandise will be delivered; they may also request that we contact them in advance of the arrival time of the delivery crew (e.g. call 1 hour ahead).
Delivery Services
Appliances will be delivered to the appropriate area inside the house. Appliances that are not to be installed by our company (hoods, disposals, dishwashers, compactors, drop-in ranges, under refrigeration products, etc.) are left intact in the manufacturer’s carton, connected to existing water/electrical outlets, dryer exhaust vents and leveled. Hookups/connections are not performed on gas lines, reverse osmosis water systems, clear ice machines, or external vents of microwaves—these should be performed by qualified gas/plumbing/HVAC companies. Customers should ensure any plumbing and electrical wiring issues are completed prior to delivery.
Extra work such as mounting laundry on pedestals, stacking laundry, reversing doors, etc. will normally be completed without any extra charge.
Installation of refrigerator stainless steel panels purchased through First Coast Supply will be installed at no extra charge. Custom wood panels and handles are not normally a part of our appliance delivery service and need to be accomplished by the cabinet installer.
Built-in refrigerators will be installed for the fee specified at the time of purchase. In certain cases, if a complex delivery is involved (upstairs, tight clearances, etc.) a pre-delivery inspection may be conducted at no charge to the customer to determine the feasibility of deivery and charges, if any. Installation of intergrated refrigeration is not performed by our delivery crews, but may be coordinated with an outside installation source.
Service
Any service issues for cabinets and granite tops will be accomplished by our company. Service issues related to appliances are referred to local authorized service companies.
